As part of my Media Communications internship, I have gained hands-on experience with Rogers TV Simcoe County, working on Barrie Colts hockey productions.
My responsibilities have included:
- Setting up cameras for live hockey broadcasts.
- Assisting with audio production in the audio room.
- Operating cameras during games.
- Supporting the behind-the-scenes production of live sports television.
This experience has helped me develop my technical skills and better understand the teamwork involved in broadcasting.
Soccer – Refereeing & Coaching
Soccer has been an important part of my life. Through refereeing and coaching, I have developed communication, leadership, decision-making and teamwork skills.
As an Ontario Soccer referee, I officiate youth and competitive matches, making decisions and managing games in fast-paced environments.
